There is an up-and-coming philosophy of parenting called Gentle
Parenting. Today's guest, Dilshad from the popular account
@thegentlemamma, is sharing her insight on the differences between
this philosophy and that of punitive punishment.

Dilshad grew up in a traditional Indian family with typical
punitive punishment. When she had her son, she wanted to
re-consider all that had been passed down to her by past
generations. She then came across the concept of Gentle Parenting,
which basically says: no rewards and no punishments.

On today's episode, Lindsey and Dilshad have a gracious
conversation about dealing with anger as a parent (and practical
tips to help you stop parenting out of anger), the differences
between traditional parenting vs. gentle parenting as well as
practical implementations.
